HERAT, Afghanistan (AFP) — pair Afghan border police were killed and brace were missing after armed men stormed a checkpoint in northwestern Afghanistan, police have said.

A cluster of unknown armed men attacked the police support overnight in Murghab district of Badghis province, provincial police chief general Shir Ali told AFP Sunday.

"Two border police are martyred and couple are still missing after an attack forward their post in Murghab district," Ali said.

The official did not blame the attack forward any particular group but
