MARSEILLE, France (AFP) — Marseille have a loan agreement with Liverpool across injured international striker Djibril Cisse almost in the bag, the French first division club's president Pape Diouf said.

"We have almost reached agreement that could involve a loan for a season," said Diouf after a visit to northwest England.

"I still have to travel over one or two small details with Rick Parry, Liverpool's chief executive. The agreement has to be offer to his executive but I'm hopeful things are going to actuate It could happen quickly now."
